After a couple of days of GCN fat burning workouts I mixed it up today with a few hours of afternoon skiing at Sunday River. I live about 30 minutes and have a season pass so it is fairly practical for me to go out for just a few hours in the afternoon. The great thing about skiing is that to me it’s more fun than just about any other winter exercise.
The challenge for me when it comes to exercise is that if it is not fun, I’m not likely to do it on a regular basis. That’s why in the winter I have to do outdoor activities like skiing and snowshoeing a couple of times a week to break-up the monotony of indoor workouts.
I have a friend who actually likes running on a treadmill every day. I can’t fathom doing that day after day. Do you vary your exercise types during the week? Or can you do the same thing over and over? Leave a comment or check-in on the Ed Tech Fitness Flipgrid.
