A big part of taking care of your fitness is just having time to exercise. One way to make time for exercise is to cut down on the time it takes you to do routine tasks like answering email. If you’re a Gmail user, whether personal Gmail or G Suite for Education email, you can use the following settings to speed up the time it takes to reply to messages.
Enable Smart Replies
Smart Reply is a setting that should be on by default in your Gmail account. This is the setting that enables prediction of what you want to write in response to an email you have received. Smart Reply is excellent for short replies like “thank you,” “see you there,” and “great idea.” Watch the following video to learn how to enable Smart Replies in Gmail.
Canned Responses
Canned Responses are similar to Smart Replies. The difference is Canned Responses are messages that you have created and saved to enter into future email messages. Canned Responses are excellent for longer emails that you might find yourself frequently writing. For example, if at the beginning of a semester you find yourself answering the same type of questions about your course syllabus, a canned response can speed-up your response time. An overview of how to use Canned Responses in Gmail is included in the following video.
